The Child Protection Specialist position involves working with child, youth and adult clients who have engaged in harmful sexual behavior. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing treatment and support needs, working alongside whānau and other supports impacted by this behavior.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a recognised qualification in psychology, social work or counselling. A current Practicing Certificate is also required. Experience in delivering clinical treatment, creating safety plans and report writing is essential.
