About the Role:

As a Structural Innovations Manager at Python Fixings, you will collaborate with fellow engineers, contractors, and industry leaders who share your passion for structural innovation. This role is about fostering relationships, providing technical expertise, and driving meaningful conversations that shape the future of construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging off your Structural Engineering background, you will use your technical expertise to gain a comprehensive understanding of Python's products, and effectively communicate the benefits of these products to the market and industry peers.
  • You will thrive in liaising daily with your customer base, staying at the forefront of upcoming opportunities to secure product specifications and articulate the effectiveness of the Python product range proactively to market.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams (administration, marketing, and technical support), you will key in helping to streamline order processing, coordinate dispatch, and provide after-sales support.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or client relationship management—ideally in the construction or engineering sector.
  • A Bachelor's degree (BE) in Structural Engineering or a related field, including minimum 5 years AU experience.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction industry, including engineering principles, best practices, and innovative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with structural engineers, contractors, architects, and distributors—many of whom will be your professional peers.
  • Commitment to staying updated with construction standards, guidelines, and certifications.
