The Team
Amano has a team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to delivering rustic, Italian-inspired fare with a focus on provenance. We use seasonal, sustainable, and local produce from New Zealand growers and farmers. Our food is simply prepared and humbly served in a relaxed space that lets you enjoy on your terms.
Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Amano. Ideally, you will have at least 2 years of experience as a bartender in a comparable venue, a love for people and hospitality, good knowledge of wine, experience making cocktails, the ability to work nights and weekends, and the desire to be part of a team that drives success.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bartender at Amano, you will be responsible for creating exceptional experiences for our guests, preparing and serving beverages such as wine, beer, and cocktails while demonstrating sound knowledge of our offerings. You will also ensure stock management, including wastage, display, and storage. Additionally, you will upsell through the knowledge of our products and create an engaged and authentic rapport with guests.
