This role is part of our Parks Planning team, which plays a crucial role in protecting, enhancing, and enabling the growth of our open space network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team that provides expert planning advice to protect and enhance our parks and reserves.
**The Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader with a strong track record of leading teams effectively and fostering positive outcomes for staff and the community. If you have at least 7-10 years of experience in parks and recreation planning, urban planning, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, we encourage you to apply.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of professionals who provide high-quality planning advice to protect and enhance our parks and reserves.
- Develop and implement plans to grow and improve our open space network.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Make informed decisions and apply mitigation strategies to manage risk.
