About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We are seeking a leader to provide coaching and mentoring to a team dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable commercial and residential property solutions.
This role involves overseeing property projects, whilst also managing Wise Group's property assets through design, condition assessments, asset management plans, and capital works improvement programming.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and mentoring to your direct reports, engage in regular coaching with them focusing on building a high-performing team and harmonious relationships with our key stakeholders
- Play an important role in managing and resolving issues and take a proactive approach to identifying risk
- Develop a deep understanding of the Group's property needs and build strong relationships with key entity stakeholders.
- Find opportunities within the sector to develop future growth and potential stakeholder partnerships to take the Wise Group forward. This includes identifying pressure points and advocating for systems change where appropriate
You'll be working 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to work from both home and the office.
Skills & Experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
You will have:
- Relevant qualification in project management, asset management, or other relevant discipline
- Experience with delivering change through project delivery
- Financially savvy. Ideally with experience in reconciling against budget and forecasting
- Expert knowledge in legislative requirements including the Building Act, Building consent requirements and managing BWoF (including fire systems requirements)
- Experience working within the mental health, addiction, disability, public health, non-government and/or community sector
