About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to clients with complex needs, managing risk, and ensuring safety throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with intellectual disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations
  • Manage risk and ensure safety in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide high-quality individualized care to clients with complex needs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the disability sector or aged care is preferred
  • A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviors
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepovers
  • Comfortable using computers and tablets daily
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
  • New Zealand driver's license
