We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Digital Defender to join our team as a Senior Cyber Security Consultant. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in protecting our digital assets and ensuring the security of our systems.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years' experience in a cyber-security role or in an IT technical role with demonstrated responsibilities for cyber security. They will also have tertiary qualification in Information Technology, engineering, computer science or other relevant area of study, and relevant IT Security or other cyber security certification(s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business-centric cyber security best practices throughout the organization.
  • Assess and recommend appropriate security controls for technical designs.
  • Define and evolve key security metrics and governance reporting.
  • Experience in writing end-user security documentation: strategies, policies, standards, procedures, guides, etc.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years' experience in a cyber-security role or in an IT technical role with demonstrated responsibilities for cyber security.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, engineering, computer science or other relevant area of study.
  • Relevant IT Security or other cyber security certification(s) e.g., Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CISA, CRISC or CISSP certifications.
