Job Description
The Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Independent Prison Visitor. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting a prison once a month, observing operations, and speaking with prisoners, staff members, and other providers.
You will also be required to provide a written report summarising your visit to the Independent Prison Visitor coordinating team. To be successful in this role, you should possess strong analytical skills, be able to think critically, and have a high level of attention to detail.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in corrections and contribute to the Victorian correctional system.
