Located in Palmerston North, our psychology team operates within the Community Corrections Hub. We primarily work in prison settings in both Manawatu and Whanganui (male prisons), as well as in Community Corrections. As a psychologist within this team, you will have the opportunity to engage in diverse clinical tasks, specialising in assessing and intervening with high-risk offenders.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and interventions with individuals at high risk of reoffending
  • Work in collaboration with other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Provide training and supervision for excellence in assessment and intervention
