Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for processing high-volume manual data entry in Apparel21 and SAP, ensuring timely and precise vendor statement reconciliations, and resolving invoice discrepancies and receipting issues with stores and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice Processing: Handle approximately 800 invoices per month in Apparel21 and SAP.
  • Reconciliations & Accuracy: Ensure accurate and timely vendor statement reconciliations.
  • Supplier & Store Support: Resolve invoice discrepancies and liaise with stores and suppliers.
  • Payments & Compliance: Prepare payment files, ensure proper authorizations, and adhere to policies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify ways to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong administration and data entry skills, comfortable with repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A problem-solving mindset, taking initiative to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable (2+ years), preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • ERP system experience (SAP, AP21 preferred), knowledge of invoice processing systems is a plus.
