About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team in Medical Imaging, Palmerston North Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position that includes rotation through all shifts and provides coverage for General X-Ray, Theatre, ED, and Mobiles. Interventional Radiology and/or CT experience would be an asset.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct patient examinations to a high standard, maintaining accurate patient data and ensuring administrative processes are complete.
- Practice procedures in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise MIT students as required, contributing to a positive work environment.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will apply your knowledge and professionalism to maintain clinical excellence and outstanding patient care. You will demonstrate integrity and contribute to a positive work environment. Key requirements include:
NZ registration and a current annual practicing certificate.
Excellent interpersonal skills: communication, team effectiveness, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Excellent time management skills, including initiative and flexibility.IV-line insertion would be considered an asset.
