The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the delivery of transport infrastructure and roading maintenance projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the execution and performance of road maintenance contracts and construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with clients, local authorities, and community stakeholders; address concerns and provide updates on maintenance and construction activities.

About You

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project or contract management within the road maintenance or civil infrastructure sector in New Zealand.
  • Strong knowledge of road maintenance and civil construction practices, safety regulations, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
