Job Description

We're seeking an experienced design leader to join our Roads & Highways team in Wellington. As a Design Manager, you'll lead our design consultancy services and provide strategic technical direction across the Wellington region, New Zealand, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Lead design management on major infrastructure projects throughout their lifecycle.Drive project success through effective risk management, quality assurance, and digital engineering implementation.Build and maintain strong relationships with private and public sector clients.Oversee the production of high-quality engineering design deliverables.Manage diverse project teams, including global resources and subcontractors.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

15+ years of relevant experience in design management within the transport infrastructure sector.A proven track record of successful project delivery in the Wellington/ANZ region.Exceptional client relationship management skills.Strong experience in Digital Engineering/BIM implementation.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Experience in managing complex budgets and commercial outcomes.
