We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Sterile Science Service team as a Sterile Sciences Technician. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, inspection, testing, and sterilisation of surgical and medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments
  • Inspection and testing of medical devices
  • Preparation and sterilisation of equipment
  • Maintenance of accurate records

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
  • Ability to work on a rotational basis, including shifts and weekends
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
  • Demonstrated communication skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to learn new procedures
