Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Sterile Science Service team as a Sterile Sciences Technician. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the cleaning, decontamination, inspection, testing, and sterilisation of surgical and medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and decontamination of surgical instruments
- Inspection and testing of medical devices
- Preparation and sterilisation of equipment
- Maintenance of accurate records
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- NCEA Level 3 or equivalent
- Ability to work on a rotational basis, including shifts and weekends
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Demonstrated communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to learn new procedures
