IndyCar Mechanic Specialist

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled IndyCar Mechanic Specialist to join our team at Jr United Kingdom. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our high-performance vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition for racing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and disassemble IndyCars, preparing them for the race weekend
- Work on all aspects of the vehicle, with a focus on front, rear, and mid sections
- Ensure all components of the car are secure
- Clean and inspect suspension components, engine ancillary components, and other parts as required
- Disassemble and reassemble race cars, install suspension components, and perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma from an Automotive Trade School or equivalent work experience is preferred
- Previous experience as a mechanic from an automotive dealership or similar experience is preferred
- Previous experience on a race team is preferred
- Ability to use hand tools is required
- Ability to lift more than 20lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, sit, or stand for extended periods of time
