Job Description: As a key member of our logistics team at Move Logistics, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Delivery Driver to join our Central Auckland operations. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, transport goods, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Loading and unloading heavy items, such as sofas, fridges, washing machines, beds, and mattresses, ensuring they are securely transported.
  • Deliver goods according to customer orders in a manner that exceeds their expectations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly and assist with other warehouse duties when not on delivery runs.
  • Fill vehicles with fuel and report on any maintenance requirements.
  • Perform daily checks on oils, coolant, WOF, etc., and maintain a clean and organized truck.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A current, clean class 4 driver's license with 1+ years experience.
  • Good command of the English language and acceptable written and communication skills.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting (35kg+) and physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety regulations and flexible availability to work on an on-call basis.
  • Clean Police Check (MOJ) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Two professional references and NZ residency or citizenship.
