About the role

You'll be working as part of a team providing advice and support to the business to deal with procurement, supplier, and commercial needs. You'll work closely with our Māori Health Partnerships team and others at various levels of the business to develop and deliver prioritised procurement activities.

Key to this role is your ability to support and deliver Māori health services and initiatives that improve the lives of Māori and all New Zealanders.

Your skills and experience

  • A good understanding of NZGPR and its application in delivering innovative procurement solutions aligned to the Māori Health action plan and ACC's enterprise strategy Huakina Te Ra.
  • An in-depth knowledge of procurement processes and approaches that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori as the Crown's Tiriti partners.
  • Experience in tikanga and matauranga Māori would be an advantage.
