We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Ranger in the Auckland Mainland District. As a Ranger, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving Tamaki Makaurau District's recreation and historic places for our community and visitors to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve Tamaki Makaurau District's recreation and historic places
- Repair and maintain tracks in both front and back country locations
- Support volunteers and community groups to achieve greater conservation outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high level of physical fitness, experience in the backcountry, and strong verbal and written communication skills. You will also need to possess the ability to work alone and as part of a team, and have a strong focus on health and safety.
