We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement and Inventory Control Lead to join our Mcalpine Hussmann Limited team. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations and ensure logistics requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain operations.
- Manage and oversee all activities related to sourcing, procurement, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Coordinate supply, manufacture, and sales/servicing areas through effective S&OP processes.
- Ensure logistics requirements are met and adapt to changing demand levels.
- Provide senior leadership and accountability in Supply Chain departments to deliver optimized stable platforms and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- 8+ years of experience in all facets of supply chain management, including relevant S&OP experience.
- Procurement of materials from NZ and overseas (including trading commodities).
- Excellent MRP & ERP skills.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with transportation-related functions and processes.
- ERP/MRP applications and implementations.
- Proven negotiation skills resulting in significant cost savings and measurable service improvements.
- Experience in multi-site management, including third-party logistic providers.
- Strong presentation skills with advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong planning, project management, and logistic skills to meet critical milestones.
