Job Description

We are seeking a highly effective and driven HHardware Engineer to join our Research and Development Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand.

You will be working with a team of engineers to design, enhance, and test future generations of our power converter and energy storage product range.

  • Work on new microinverter and other product developments and variants through the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to specify, design, verify, and debug circuits and firmware for our products.
  • Assist product compliance engineers to achieve global certifications for our products.
  • Create test plans and generate test reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in industry.
  • Experience in designing and testing power, analogue or digital electronics.
  • Real-world experience in developing electronic products from concept to market launch.
  • Familiarity with circuit schematic, PCB layout, and simulation tools.
  • Practical experience in testing and debugging hardware using oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
