The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate internal and external financial statements for the Craigs Investment Partners group and associated companies.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  2. Perform group consolidations, acquisition accounting, and reporting for holding entities.
  3. Prepare and file company taxation obligations.
  4. Assist in preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  5. Focus on process and continuous improvement.
  6. Month-end processes and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

About You

This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working collaboratively within a team. The successful candidate will be confident, possess excellent attention to detail, and have strong organisational skills.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
  • Experience in financial services (desirable).
  • Strong financial accounting and analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong process improvement focus.
