Role Overview
This is a key leadership role for an experienced senior nurse to manage and lead the nursing workforce in Te Toki Maurere, Whakatane's Adult Inpatient Unit.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to implementing Toi Ora systems of care, enabling the achievement of Te Toi Ahorangi and Pae Ora.
About You
You will bring significant experience in Mental Health, preferably in an inpatient setting. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to support patients, whanau, and staff, while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing advanced professional leadership and management to the nursing workforce in Te Toke Maurere.
- Contributing to implementing Toi Ora systems of care to enable achieving Te Toi Ahorangi and Pae Ora.
- Making a positive difference to improve health outcomes, in particular for tangata whenua.
