We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our Quality Bakers manufacturing site in East Tamaki. This role involves maintaining electrical equipment and plant to ensure optimal performance through effective maintenance practices and procedures.
The shift pattern for this position is Wednesday (12pm – 6am), Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (6pm – 6am).
This role includes the following key responsibilities:
- Maintaining machinery and plant to ensure optimum performance through active scheduled maintenance.
- Completing preventative and predictive maintenance, as well as supporting breakdowns.
- Maintenance of electrical control equipment, pumps, motors, VSD's, conveyers, manufacturing, and filling equipment.
- Driving factory quality and SHE standards to ensure sustainable improvement in safety for the site.
- Communicating all breakdowns to the team.
- Finding solutions to problems, not just identifying them.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge and a commitment to our Safety culture.
- PLC root-cause analysis experience would be useful (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens).
- Fully Registered Electrician with a current practicing license - essential.
