Job Description:

  1. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment/systems utilised in industrial plants and hazardous areas
  2. Performing scheduled maintenance on various plants' electrical infrastructure
  3. Installing, testing, and commissioning new electrical equipment and systems
  4. Implementing all relevant safety regulations and procedures
  5. Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work carried out
  6. Supervising a small team of electricians

Requirements:

  • Current NZ Registered Electrician with Hazardous Area Endorsement on your license
  • Hazardous area experience
  • Proven experience in fault finding and servicing of electrical devices/systems
  • The ability to work productively in a safe and healthy manner either autonomously or within a team
  • Current full NZ driver's license
  • Good communication abilities to interact with clients and team members
  • The ability to supervise and mentor people to reach project and company goals
  • Willingness to work on an on-call roster
  • The right to work and live in New Zealand
