Family Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at National Fostering Group. As a key member of our social work team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our foster carers and children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster carers and children to ensure their needs are met and they receive the best possible care.
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess the suitability of foster homes and provide guidance and support to foster carers.
  • Collaborate with our specialist clinical teams to identify and provide the right kinds of support for children and young people.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
