About the Job

We are seeking a High-Intensity Community Mental Health Professional to join our team at Auckland District Health Board.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, lead and manage the Assertive Community Outreach Service (ACOS) team, and contribute to the development of mental health services in the region.

About ACOS

ACOS is an intensive community mental health team that works with individuals who have a history of poor engagement with mental health services and present with high-risk associated with their condition.

The team provides responsive treatment to service users who require more flexibility and intensity of support.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist who can work collaboratively with clients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams in both inpatient and community settings.

The ideal candidate will have positive experiences of working in high-intensity community mental health settings, leading and managing teams, and contributing to service development.
