The successful candidate will be responsible for generating story ideas, writing articles, creating content for social media platforms, and uploading content to WordPress while optimizing it for SEO. They will also contribute ideas for both editorial and commercial content, formulate, shoot, and edit video content, and assist with partner content as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess a journalism qualification or experience, with demonstrated ability in digital content creation. Proficiency in Canva, WordPress, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro is preferred but not essential. We value creativity, enthusiasm, and a warm, positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate story ideas and write articles across a breadth of subjects, including lifestyle, travel, and human interest.\
  • Create considered and on-brand content for Capsule NZ's social media platforms.\
  • Upload content to WordPress, optimizing it for SEO.\
  • Formulate, shoot, and edit video content for new and existing stories.\
  • Assist with partner content as needed.
