Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and certified kaiako to join our teaching team in the over 2's room. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating environment that supports children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all children
  • Build strong relationships with children, whanau and colleagues
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Participate in regular planning and review meetings with the team
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A provisional or full teaching certification
  • A strong understanding of Te Whariki and its application in practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
