**About the Role**

We are seeking a proactive, confident self-starter to join our team as a Wastewater Contracts Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have well-developed communication skills with a strong customer service focus and be able to work under pressure.

You will be responsible for delivering contract management for physical works, ensuring quality standards are maintained, driving innovation and continuous improvement, and providing technical support for the wider team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage contracts for waste assets in our district
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract needs are addressed in a timely manner
  • Ensure appropriate funding is available
  • Deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, a big-picture thinker, solution-focused, and self-motivated.

Your ability to manage time effectively and experience working in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) will be invaluable.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking customers and your team on a journey with you, approaching hard decisions and difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy.
