About the Position

Northern Regional Alliance is seeking an experienced Paediatric Infectious Diseases Expert to join our team, working 0.45 FTE (12 hours per week, plus rostered on-call duties). This role involves working in a collaborative and supportive team environment to provide high-quality clinical service to children.

About the Team/Service

The Paediatric Infectious Diseases service at Starship Child Health provides comprehensive care for children in New Zealand, serving approximately 1 million patients. This service includes out-patient clinics, clinical consultation to the National Refugee Service, and input to various intensive care units and transplant services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have (or be close to completing) vocational training in Paediatric Infectious Diseases, hold at least the equivalent of the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, and be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
