Job Description

The Senior Data and Insights Analyst reports to the Lead Advisor Property Information and Performance within the Government Property Office. The role involves:

  1. Information gathering, data management, reporting, and analysis functions to identify insights that inform the strategic direction and operations of the branch and Property System stakeholder initiatives.
  2. Working with complex and disparate information to deliver insights and trends.
  3. Developing and maintaining data governance frameworks.
  4. Utilising analytical tools including R, Power BI, and SQL or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality data insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data systems and processes.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in data analysis, data quality management, data visualisation, and data governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, manipulate, analyse data, and generate appropriate reports in a timely manner.
  • Strong understanding of transactional and reporting databases and Data warehouses.
