About You/Key Requirements:

  • Hold a PhD in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a closely aligned discipline, with a demonstrated record of published research outputs.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration and effective communication.
  • Have knowledge of current trends and practices in Business Analytics, including data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence.
  • Commit to contributing to academic diversity and excellence.
  • Show evidence of student project supervision and prior teaching/industry experience in Business Analytics.
  • Have an active commitment to upholding cultural values and traditions, valuing te reo Maori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
  • Maintain links with current practice in the professional arena to provide opportunities for students.
  • Participate in innovative research programmes relevant to Business Analytics.
