The New Zealand Government is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Advisor to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and advice to support the delivery of Aroturuki Tamariki's mission. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement financial policies, procedures and systems that support robust financial decisions and ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people by contributing to the development of a high-performing finance function within Aroturiki Tamariki. You will work closely with an experienced project manager to set up and implement systems and processes that support robust financial decisions and ensure that our financial management processes comply with legislative requirements and best practice.

We require someone with strong financial management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will also have advanced skills in financial analysis, tools and systems including Xero.
