We are Trimble, a leading provider of machine control products that use site design information combined with positioning technology to semi-automatically control machines.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our Hardware Solutions Team in CTCT. As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a vital role in hardware product design and manufacture.

You will work within a multi-disciplined team responsible for on-machine construction machine guidance system components.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electronic solutions for various applications
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality electronic component designs
  • Taking responsibility for electrical design quality according to international design and manufacturing best practices, including Design for Manufacture & Test (DFM, DFT)
  • Supporting related project activities such as firmware/hardware integration bring-up, DFMEA, field testing, compliance, reliability, and HALT testing
  • Supporting the successful transition of completed products to manufacturing through activities such as new product introduction (NPI) product builds, authoring Engineering Changes, and contributing to writing on-line test procedures and fixture design as required

**Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • BSEE, B.Eng (Electrical & Electronics), B.Eng (Mechatronics), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated industry experience in a relevant engineering design position
  • Versed in the hands-on theory of design, by way of schematic capture, component selection, circuit simulation, PCB layout, and design verification testing and reporting
  • Knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures relating to electronic product design, test, and equipment/tools applied in the real world
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves:

  • Proficiency with eCAD systems, experience in Cadence OrCAD and Allegro
  • Off-highway or automotive component hardware experience
