Our Service

We provide specialist palliative care services to patients in West Auckland, drawing on our expertise in symptom management, end-of-life care, and supportive care. Our multidisciplinary team includes nurses, social workers, massage therapists, physiotherapists, talking therapists, art therapists, a spiritual advisor, and a Rongoa Maori practitioner.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Palliative Medicine Specialist to join our team. As part of a strong interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with other specialists, doctors, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for managing symptoms, developing care plans, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Medicine or equivalent qualification
  • Registration as a medical practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Palliative Medicine or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
