About the Role
We are seeking a strategic category manager to lead our vehicles, machinery, and facilities management portfolio. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic category plans that meet business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining effective supplier relationships
- Identifying and realizing cost-saving opportunities
- Leading panel management and ensuring efficient operations
- Providing advice and support to the business on category market dynamics and trends
- Mentoring and guiding a Supplier Advisor and Administrator
You will report to the National Procurement Manager and have the support of a shared resource. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a significant impact on DOC's procurement strategy.
