About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on children's lives across the country by playing a pivotal role in the long-term growth and success of KidsCan community fundraising strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategy: Lead a small team to develop and execute KidsCan's community fundraising strategy, managing a range of fundraising initiatives and stewarding supporters within the community.
  • Foster Relationships: Foster relationships and mobilise individuals, schools and community groups to support KidsCan, developing and implementing a long-term community fundraising strategy to maximise revenue growth.
  • Implement Large-Scale Fundraising Initiatives: Implement innovative large-scale peer to peer community fundraising initiatives to drive engagement with community groups, schools and individuals, growing and recognising supporter contributions.
  • Manage Budget and Expenditure: Manage the budget and expenditure for community fundraising activities, collaborating with the Marketing team to develop campaigns and content that highlights impact and drives a pipeline of new fundraisers.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in leading and managing the delivery of community fundraising initiatives, driving revenue growth and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth, develop successful strategies to drive revenue growth and lead high-performing teams.
  • Relationship Management Skills: Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including individuals, schools and community groups.
  • Financial Management Skills: Strong financial management skills, with experience in managing budgets and expenditure.
  • Campaign Development Skills: Ability to develop and implement effective fundraising campaigns, leveraging various channels to achieve desired outcomes.
