We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join our Biochemistry team at Middlemore Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining our IT systems and ensuring the delivery of high-quality laboratory services.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering excellent results in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our Biochemistry team to ensure that our IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining IT systems, including Roche diagnostics and Delphic system
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO 15189
  • Collaborating with the Biochemistry team to deliver high-quality laboratory services

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a large Biochemistry department
  • Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand
  • Current APC with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand
