Our mandate is to ensure there is clear, joint accountability across government for this work. We work in partnership with the Māori and Community Partnerships Group to inform our future direction and policy development.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Policy Advisor to join our team. As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and/or leading the development of advice as part of a programme of work to help us achieve transformative change to eliminate family violence and sexual violence.

Key Responsibilities
* Developing and/or leading the development of advice on family violence and sexual violence policy
* Working in partnership across the family violence and sexual violence sector, alongside government agency colleagues
* Developing strong relationships to influence others and contribute to the elimination of family violence and sexual violence

Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience
* Prior experience at a Senior Advisor level in a central government policy context
* High level of cultural competency, including understanding of Te Tiriti and commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion through your work
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $110,766 and $154,680 based on skills and experience.
