Job Title: Consultant Paediatrician

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Gisborne Hospital. As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities: Your main responsibilities will include working in general and community paediatrics, managing neonates, acutely unwell children, children with chronic disease, and behavioural disorders. You will also participate in an on-call roster, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must hold legitimate qualifications and registration as a Paediatrician with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Fellowship of RACP is also highly regarded. Additionally, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously within collegial relationships.
