Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Te Whatu Ora Tairawhiti. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health services for older people and general adult psychiatry, with experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment. As a Senior Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to support the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our community.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatry or equivalent, and be registered or eligible for vocational registration in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You will also have broad clinical experience, specialist knowledge, and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity. In addition, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
