Sales Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our Timber Yard team at our Ahuriri Depot. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work well in a team environment. Key responsibilities include assisting customers with their purchases, loading products onto vehicles, processing orders and transactions, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with their purchases and provide exceptional customer service
  • Loading products onto customer vehicles and ensuring efficient loading processes
  • Process orders and transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Trade or product knowledge is not essential, but a clean and current Full NZ Driver's Licence and Forklift experience are required. If you do not already hold a Forklift Licence, we can assist you in gaining one.
