Job Description:

As a graduate or early-career geologist, you will join our technical services team and work under the supervision of the Mine Planner to develop solutions and contribute to Mine planning and resource development.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring Health and Safety protocols are followed
  • Providing general Geological services
  • Collecting, validating, and interpreting data
  • Communicating effectively and presenting reports

To excel in this position:

  • You must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a comparable qualification
  • You should have a passion for geological, structural, and rock mass interpretation, as well as experience in core logging
  • You should be eager to learn geological modelling software and databases
  • You should have experience working with drill rig operations and sampling
  • You should have a solid understanding of sedimentary and structural geology
  • You must possess a current NZ driver's license
