Leading Radiocommunications Specialist

As a Senior Spectrum Planning Analyst, you will play a critical role in achieving this vision by providing expert technical advice on radio spectrum resource management and contributing to the development of policies and regulations that support effective and efficient use of the radio spectrum.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and regulations related to radio spectrum management.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient use of the radio spectrum.
- Undertake complex radio engineering analysis and lead spectrum planning projects.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders across MBIE's Radio Spectrum Management functions and relevant personnel in other government agencies.
- An understanding of radio engineering fundamentals, including radio wave propagation and interference/co-existence analysis and modeling.
- Experience with radio technologies and standards.
- A strong understanding of the spectrum management environment, regulatory frameworks, and planning practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
