About Us
We are a small and dynamic team within the Waitemata District Health Board, dedicated to providing comprehensive audiological services to our community. Our team of 4 audiologists and 2 administration support staff work closely with ENT colleagues, Newborn Hearing screening teams, and other departments to ensure seamless care delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for conducting thorough clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective rehabilitative strategies to support children with hearing impairments. Your expertise will also be valuable in educating families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals about auditory health and its importance in child development.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent clinical skills, a strong passion for paediatric audiology, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You must be a full member of the New Zealand Audiological Society or eligible for provisional membership, with a focus on obtaining full membership after a period of supervision.
