About the Role

We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join Legal Services, based at PNHQ. While there may be some variety to the work, the role will primarily be responsible for the information and privacy portfolio in Legal Services, with a focus on national standards and expert advice in this area.

  • Identifying legal risks and providing advice on appropriate actions
  • Providing timely direction and advice on information requests and complaints
  • Liaising with Crown Counsel and Crown Solicitors, as appropriate, in respect of civil matters
  • Managing projects as required within Legal Services, including law reform issues, primarily related to information and privacy matters
