Job Description

We are seeking a true thought leader to join our Microsoft Dynamics team in Wellington as a Regional Lead. In this dynamic role, you will be pivotal in driving growth and innovation, wearing multiple hats as a strategist, leader, and technical expert.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Customer Engagement, with a deep understanding of its functionalities and capabilities. You will serve as a Principal Consultant and expert for the platform, engaging with customers of all sizes – small, medium, and large.

You will also provide business and technological leadership and guidance to all people within a business, ensuring that they have the resources and training they need to excel. Your ability to build strong relationships and create a positive work environment will be crucial in driving team success and achieving organisational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to ensure that the team has the resources and training they need to succeed.
  • Leading and motivating teams within a consultancy or professional services firm, with a proven record of success in achieving measurable results.
  • Providing project guidance and governance, interfacing with customers, product teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party organisations.
  • Leading and providing technical governance for customer engagements, ensuring successful delivery from proposal to execution.
  • Driving sales initiatives, developing strategies to attract new and manage relationships with existing customers.
  • Acting as the liaison with vendors and external third parties, providing sales support by working closely with relationship managers and the sales team regarding pre-sales activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years' recognised expertise in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central technology, ideally in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement speciality area.
  • Proficiency across all core Business Central technologies, along with other technologies like Azure and Power Platform.
  • Extensive experience leading and motivating teams within a consultancy or professional services firm, with a proven record of success in achieving measurable results.
  • Solid business analyst skills, with the proven ability to think strategically, develop compelling business cases, strategies, and roadmaps that drive growth for the Business Central practice.
  • Demonstrated project delivery experience, sales experience, and a strong track record in pre-sales.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, ensuring clear and concise documentation that resonates with customers.
  • Adept at problem-solving, gathering information, evaluating options, and developing effective solutions under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, connecting and collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and 3rd party representatives.
