Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Merchandise Planner to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining product visibility, ensuring critical milestones for inbound purchase orders are met, and driving improvement in the inbound purchase order process.
Your Responsibilities
- Product Visibility: Maintain product visibility and ensure critical milestones for inbound purchase orders are met to achieve business objectives.
- Drive Improvement: Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in the inbound purchase order process.
- Product Allocation: Manage the creation and adjustment of initial allocations to maximise business benefits and minimise potential downsides.
- Replenishment: Oversee the efficient weekly replenishment of DC-held stock to stores, balancing requirements to maximise customer demand and minimise costs and risks.
- Dynamic Ordering: Manage the process of dynamic ordering each week from vendors directly to our stores.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain, or a similar field.
- 4-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Precision in managing purchase orders, allocations, and replenishment processes.
- Advanced computer skills, especially within MS Excel.
- Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving ability.
