Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-centric Retail Sales Associate to join our self-checkout team at The Warehouse. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient checkout process.

About the Position

This is a permanent part-time position with varied hours of work, including Fridays and Saturdays. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, assisting customers through our self-checkout lanes and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with their purchases, answering questions and resolving issues as needed
  • Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process, using our self-checkout system
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, being able to answer customer queries and make recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with the loss prevention team to prevent theft and maintain store security

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Comfortable standing for long periods and moving around the store as needed
