Starship Child Health Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Surgeon to join our team at Starship Children's Hospital. As a key member of the Paediatric Surgical Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of inpatient and outpatient services.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in educational and research activities to advance the field of paediatric surgery

Requirements:

  • Be an experienced Paediatric Surgeon registered as a Medical Practitioner with FRACS Paediatric Surgery or equivalent
  • Vocationally registered or eligible for this in the speciality of Paediatric General Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Have completed a Paediatric Surgery training programme recognised by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
  • Demonstrate an interest in the supervision and teaching of junior RMOs, particularly registrars in training
